    Forget Sourdough Bread – My Pandemic Project is Precision Teaching!

    Some learned to bake sourdough bread. Some took on home improvement projects. However, when it came time for me to choose a pandemic project, I decided to be a precision teacher.     Why Are We Teaching Our Children to Read Like ESL Students?

    Permit me to ask a disturbing question:  Why are we teaching our children to read as though English is not their first language?  I have been a world language teacher for more than a decade at one of the more prestigious public high schools in the nation.
